A first time visit to Rome - ostensibly to watch a six nations rugby match. Who could resist a few days to take in the sights?
Have to admit that, in a few days, we did not do the city justice, so it is a good enough reason to return. The pictures only tell part of the story - but the atmosphere and ambience were amazingly intangible.
Incidentally Scotland won.
